About SafetyLens
SafetyLens exists because the organizations that most need digital-security assessment are the least likely to be able to afford it. It packages a proven assessment methodology into a tool a small team can run themselves, at their own pace, in plain language.
Guiding principles
- The organization is the expert
- An assessment describes your work, not a generic network. Questions are written to be answered by the people who do the work.
- Do no harm
- The process never asks for passwords, keys, or secrets, and recommendations are sequenced so the safest, highest-value steps come first.
- Practical over exhaustive
- A finished assessment with a realistic roadmap beats an unfinished one with a perfect taxonomy.
- Transparent reasoning
- Findings and ratings show the evidence behind them, so results can be questioned, corrected, and defended.
What SafetyLens is not
SafetyLens is not a vulnerability scanner, a monitoring service, or a replacement for an in-depth audit. It structures judgment; it does not automate expertise.
